Funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund we were able to increase the range of activities available to schools. We cover KS1 & KS2 modules including Life cycles; Habitats; Victorian Games; and Tudor Medicine etc.
Thanks to the Rowlands Trust, Castle Bromwich Parish Council, GNC Trust & The Lillie Johnson Charitable Trust and others we can now provide facilities for School visits throughout the year We have guides trained to work with children and resource packs for most age groups. We can accommodate about 40 children under cover should the weather prove unsuitable for outdoor activities.
The generosity of a number of other charities have enabled us to continue this programme in 2010 with our own Education Officer.
